After intense work over the last 2 years, it fills me with happiness and gratitude 
to come out of stealth and introduce Kinoa to the world.
For years, the large mobile gaming studios have been developing not only the 
know-how on how to scale and diversify their Live Operations within their applications, but have also been building robust technology to make this a powerful tool to enable this operation.

These tools, and the product and engineering behind them, are incredibly costly to build and operate. Most gaming companies out there, no matter their size, don’t have the internal knowledge or manpower to build them and  support a common architecture that allows scale as they grow their game portfolio.

This is why Kinoa was born – from the deep understanding that the Gaming Industry is evolving, and that gaming studios and publishers need the right tools to maximize the value of their users via Live Operations. Building and marketing a game has become gaming companies’  biggest burden. Development and acquisition costs have risen 10-20X over the past decade, making gaming founders rethink their way of turning their beloved pieces of art into viable businesses. 

Live Operations (LiveOps) is the science of merging data driven and real-time decision making within the game to enable users to follow a specific flow, tailored to their gameplay habits and experiences to improve the game’s KPI’s.

By definition, LiveOps requires intense architecture and processing power that can allow game operators to design and launch user flows in real-time that are reactive to what’s happening within their game.This gives the users the sense of personalization and constant freshness of content that is suitable to their progression. LiveOps teams need to be supported not just by good technology, but by a creative approach that will have the three main KPI’s in mind that any game should have: 1. Retention, 2. Session Time and 3. Revenue. This is why giving monetization or product managers the ability to execute campaigns at the speed of their ideas is so critical, without having to wait for long sprint planning and development times.

We are here to democratize the business of making money from games. We are here to give every studio out there a fighting chance and a level playing field to work with the same (or better) tools that AAA studios have. We want to create a healthier ecosystem where technology empowers creative teams and helps them maximize the value of their games.
